- 3 eggs
- dash of salt (optional)
- 2/3 c. white Karo syrup or half white and half dark
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. vanilla
- 1 1/2 c. pecans
- prepared pie shell, uncooked
Directions

1In mixing bowl, break eggs and beat slightly with fork.

2Add salt, Karo syrup and sugar.

3Stir in egg with fork.

4Add vanilla and pecans.

5Can use halves or chopped (halves make a prettier pie).

6Pour in prepared pie shell (uncooked).

7Bake at 350° for 45 minutes or whenever pecans are golden in color.
