- 1 c. corn syrup (King)
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/4 c. butter or fat, melted
- plain pastry
- 1 c. pecans
Directions

1Beat eggs; add sugar, syrup, salt, vanilla and butter or fat. Line pie pan with plain pastry.

2Put in pecans in a layer.

3Add mixture.

4Bake at 350° for 50 to 60 minutes.

5The nuts will rise to the top and form a crusted layer.
