  • 1 c. light brown sugar
  • 1/4 c. butter, softened
  • 1 c. white corn oil syrup
  • 3 eggs, beaten
  • 1 c. pecans, chopped
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • dash of salt
  • unbaked pie shell

Directions

    Cream sugar and butter.

    Then add syrup and eggs and mix.

    Add vanilla and salt.

    When well mixed, add nuts.

    Pour into an unbaked pie shell.

    Bake at 450°

    for 10 minutes.

    Reduce heat to 325°.

    Bake until firm, about 30 minutes.
