- 4 eggs
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. light brown sugar, firmly packed
- 1 c. light corn syrup
- 1 Tbsp. unsifted all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/4 c. butter, melted
- 1 1/2 c. chopped pecans
- 1 (9-inch) pie shell, unbaked
- 1 c. pecan halves
Directions

1Heat oven to 350°.

2In a medium bowl, beat eggs well.

3Add sugar, brown sugar, corn syrup, flour, vanilla and salt to eggs; beat until well combined.

4Fold in melted butter and chopped pecans.

5Pour into unbaked pie shell.

6Arrange pecan halves on top.

7Bake until filling is set (center of the pie will stay firm when pie is shaken gently), about 55 to 60 minutes.

8Cool completely before serving.

9Yields 1 (9-inch) pie.
