- 3 eggs
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/4 c. butter
- 1 c. white corn syrup
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 1 c. pecans
Directions

1Preheat oven to 450°.

2Beat eggs well.

3Add remaining ingredients in order given.

4Turn into unbaked pie shell and bake for 15 minutes.

5Reduce temperature to 350° and bake 40 to 45 minutes longer.

6When cool, cover with meringue if desired, or serve with sweetened whipped cream garnished with pecan halves. (Use no substitute for white syrup.)
