- 1/2 c. melted butter or margarine
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 c. light corn syrup
- 4 eggs, beaten
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 c. pecans
- 1 (9-inch) unbaked pie shell
Directions

1Combine butter, sugar and corn syrup.

2Cook over low heat, stirring constantly until sugar is dissolved.

3Cool; add eggs, vanilla and salt.

4Blend well.

5Pour filling into pie shell and top with pecans.

6Makes one 9-inch pie.

7Bake at 325° for 50 to 55 minutes.
