  • 1 c. chopped pecans
  • 1/2 c. brown sugar
  • 1 c. white Karo
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 5 eggs
  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 2 tsp. butter

Directions

    Beat eggs until foamy. Add sugar, butter and vanilla. Beat 1 minute more, then blend in pecans.

    Pour into two 9-inch pie shells. Bake at 400° for 10 minutes. Reduce heat to 350° and bake until filling sets, about 30 minutes.
