  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/4 c. butter or margarine
  • 1 c. light corn syrup
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 c. pecans, chopped
  • 1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
  • 1 pie shell

Directions

    Cream sugar and butter; add syrup and salt.

    Beat well.

    Blend in eggs, one at a time.

    Flour pecans and add.

    Pour into 9-inch pastry lined pie pan.

    Bake in moderate oven (350°) for 1 hour and 10 minutes or until knife comes out clean.

    I usually cover the edges with Reynolds Wrap so they don't get too brown.
