- 1 (9-inch) unbaked pie shell
- chopped pecans
- 3 eggs
- 1 c. dark Karo syrup
- 1/2 c. granulated sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Cover bottom of pie shell approximately 1/2-inch with chopped pecans.

2Beat eggs with fork until still foamy (not dry).

3Add Karo, sugar and vanilla.

4Mix well by hand.

5Do not use mixer. Pour over pecans and bake at 350° for 35 to 40 minutes until center is slightly firm to touch.

6Do not overbake.
