- 1 c. light brown sugar
- 1/4 c. butter
- 1 c. white corn syrup
- 3 eggs
- 1 c. chopped pecans
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- dash of salt
Directions

1Add butter, slightly softened, to brown sugar and cream it. Then add syrup and eggs, beaten.

2Add salt and vanilla.

3When all is mixed, add pecans and pour into unbaked pie shell.

4Bake 10 minutes at 450°; then reduce heat to 325° until filling is firm, about 30 minutes.
