- 3 Tbsp. butter
- 2 tsp. vanilla extract
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1/2 c. chopped pecans
- 1 c. dark corn syrup
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. chopped pecans
- 1 unbaked 9-inch pie shell
Directions

1Cream butter with extract.

2Gradually add sugar and cream. Add eggs, one at a time, beating thoroughly after each addition. Beat in chopped pecans, corn syrup and salt.

3Pour into unbaked pie shell.

4Bake at 450° for 10 minutes.

5Reduce oven to 350° and arrange pecans over top of filling.

6Bake 30 to 35 minutes or until set.

7Cool.
