  • 3 eggs, beaten
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/4 c. milk
  • 1/2 c. dark syrup
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/4 c. lard, melted or corn oil (use less corn oil)
  • 1 c. pecan meats

Directions

    Mix milk, eggs, sugar, syrup, salt, vanilla and lard or corn oil.

    Spread nuts in bottom of unbaked pie shell.

    Bake at 340° for 1 hour or until done.

    (Will be a little firm.

    The nuts will be medium brown.)
