  • 9-inch pastry shell (do not bake)
  • 3 eggs
  • 2/3 c. sugar
  • 1/3 c. melted oleo
  • 1 c. light or dark Karo corn syrup
  • 1 c. pecan halves or pieces
  • 1/2 tsp. salt

Directions

    Beat eggs, sugar, salt, melted butter and syrup with wire wisk or rotary beater.

    Stir in nuts.

    Pour into unbaked shell.

    Bake at 375° for 40 to 50 minutes or until filling is set.

    Put something under, as it might drip.
