  • 1 c. chopped pecans
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 c. white corn syrup
  • 2 or 3 eggs
  • dash of salt
  • 1 Tbsp. butter (pure)
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • flour (optional; to be sure it thickens)

Directions

    Mix all ingredients.

    Pour in unbaked pie shell.

    Bake at 450° for 10 minutes.

    Lower temperature to 300°.

    Cook for 45 minutes to 1 hour or until pie is not shaky in center.
