  • 2 large eggs
  • 3/4 c. dark syrup
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. light brown sugar
  • 3 Tbsp. margarine, melted
  • 1 frozen or homemade 9-inch pie shell

Directions

    Heat oven to 400°.

    In a large bowl, beat eggs, sugar, syrup, butter and salt until smooth.

    Stir in pecans and pour into shell. Bake 10 minutes.

    Reduce heat to 325° and bake 35 minutes or until center is firm.

    Remove from oven and cool.
