- 1/2 c. melted margarine or butter
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 c. light corn syrup
- 4 eggs, beaten
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 c. chopped pecans
- 1 (9-inch) pastry shell
Directions

1Combine butter, sugar and corn syrup; cook over low heat, stir constantly until sugar is dissolved.

2Cool and then add eggs, vanilla and salt; mix well.

3Pour filling into pie shell and top with nuts.

4Bake at 325° for 50 to 55 minutes.
