- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 c. dark corn syrup
- 3 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- 3 eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 c. pecan halves
- 1 Tbsp. flour
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
Directions

1In a quart saucepan over moderate heat, bring the 1/2 cup of sugar, corn syrup and butter to a boil, stirring occasionally. Meanwhile, in a medium size mixing bowl, beat eggs lightly. Stirring vigorously, slowly pour hot mixture over eggs.

2Stir in vanilla, salt and pecans.

3Shake 1 tablespoon of flour and sugar together and sprinkle in bottom of unbaked pie shell.

4Add hot mixture and bake at 350° for
