  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2 eggs, added one at a time
  • 1 c. chopped pecans
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 c. Pride of Dixie syrup or dark Karo syrup
  • 1/2 c. evaporated milk
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

    Mix ingredients in a 1 1/2-quart bowl.

    Pour into a 9-inch unbaked pie shell.
