- 1 unbaked 9-inch pie shell
- 1/2 c. butter
- 1 c. sugar
- 3 eggs, slightly beaten
- 3/4 c. dark corn syrup
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 1/2 c. chopped pecans
Directions

1Chill pie shell.

2Preheat oven to 375°.

3Cream butter.

4Add sugar gradually and continue beating until light and fluffy.

5Add eggs, syrup, salt, vanilla and chopped nuts.

6Pour into pie shell. Bake 40 to 45 minutes; garnish with whole nuts.
