  • 3 eggs, well beaten
  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 3/4 c. dark Karo syrup
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 Tbsp. vanilla
  • 3 Tbsp. butter, melted
  • 1 c. pecan pieces
  • 1 (9-inch) pie shell, unbaked

Directions

    Combine eggs, sugar, syrup, salt, vanilla, butter and nuts. Mix thoroughly.

    Pour into pie shell. Bake at 400° for 10 minutes. Reduce heat to 325°.

    Bake 25 minutes longer.
