  • 1 c. light corn syrup
  • 3 Tbsp. soft butter
  • 1/8 tsp. salt
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 to 1 1/2 c. chopped pecans

    Mix all together except pecans.

    Mix well with whip or rotary beater.

    Put nuts in bottom of unbaked pie shell.

    Pour filling over nuts.

    Bake in 300° oven about 1 hour or until knife blade inserted in center comes out with a slightly thickened custard-like filling clinging to the knife for a moderately firm pie.
