- 1 stick margarine
- 2 c. sugar
- 1 1/2 c. corn syrup (Karo)
- 1/2 tsp. salt (optional)
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 2 c. pecan halves
- 6 eggs
Directions

1Cream margarine; add sugar and cream until light and fluffy. Add eggs, syrup and salt; beat well.

2Pour into unbaked pie shell and bake on lower shelf of oven at 350° for approximately 45 minutes or until set.

3(I use deep pie shells; this makes two nice pies.

4I use Golden Eagle syrup.)
