- 1 c. dark Karo syrup
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/4 c. light brown sugar
- 1/2 stick melted butter
- 3 eggs, well beaten
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. white sugar
- 1 1/2 c. pecan halves
- 1 (9-inch) unbaked pie shell
Directions

1Mix the first 7 ingredients together.

2When well mixed, pour in pecans.

3Stir well.

4Pour in unbaked pie shell.

5Bake at 400° for 15 minutes, then at 350° for 30 to 45 minutes.

6Pie is done when crust is brown and edge of filling is set.
