  • 1/4 c. butter
  • 1 beaten egg
  • 1 c. light corn syrup
  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 c. chopped pecans
  • 3 eggs

Directions

    Set aside 2/3 cup of cake mix.

    Combine rest of cake mix with butter and beaten egg.

    Stir by hand until crumbly.

    Press evenly into bottom and 1-inch up sides of a 9 x 13-inch pan, ungreased. Bake for 15 minutes at 350°.
