  • 4 eggs
  • 1/2 c. melted butter
  • 1/2 c. brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 c. Karo syrup (white)
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 c. nuts

Directions

    Mix together 1 egg, melted butter and yellow cake mix (except 2/3 cup).

    Pat into a greased 13 x 9-inch oblong pan.

    Bake for 15 to 20 minutes at 350° until brown.

    Mix rest of ingredients.

    Pour over baked crust.

    Bake 30 to 35 minutes.

    Take out before completely firm.
