- 8 Tbsp. butter
- 1 c. chopped pecans
- 1/2 c. chopped onions
- 2 c. long grained rice, uncooked
- 4 c. chicken broth
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. thyme
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 2 Tbsp. chopped parsley
Directions

1Melt 3 tablespoons butter in large skillet (medium heat).

2Add pecans, saute 10 minutes.

3Remove pecans, cover and set aside.

4In same skillet, melt remaining butter.

5Add onion; saute until tender.

6Add rice and stir thoroughly.
