  • 1 deep-dish 9-inch pie shell or crust
  • 1 stick butter, softened
  • 1 1/4 c. sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 1/2 c. raisins, softened in hot water for 5 minutes
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 c. chopped pecans

    Cream butter and sugar, adding sugar slowly, creaming until fluffy.

    Add eggs; mix well.
