- 1 deep-dish 9-inch pie shell or crust
- 1 stick butter, softened
- 1 1/4 c. sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp. nutmeg
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 1/2 c. raisins, softened in hot water for 5 minutes
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 c. chopped pecans
Directions

1Preheat oven to 325°.

2Cream butter and sugar, adding sugar slowly, creaming until fluffy.

3Add eggs; mix well.

4Add the spices, raisins, vanilla extract and pecans.

5Pour into pie crust and bake at 325° for 45 minutes.
