Ingredients

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup butter
  • 1 cup oil
  • 2 eggs
  • 4 12 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon cream of tartar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 12-1 cup chopped pecans

Directions

    Preheat oven to 350.

    Mix first 5 ingredients in large mixing bowl til well blended.

    Add vanilla.

    Add baking soda and cream of tartar.

    Mix as much flour in with mixer as you can and the rest by hand.

    Add pecans.

    Drop by teaspoon on ungreased cookie sheet about 1 1/2 inches apart.

    Bake at 350 for about 5-6 minutes.

    They cook very fast so be sure that you don't overbake them.
