  • 1 cup condensed milk
  • 1 cup toffee pieces
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup pecans, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 cups unbleached flour
  • 12 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, cut into pieces
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

Directions

    Prepare crust in food processor using the pulse method until dough forms a ball.

    Roll between 2 sheets of plastic.

    Transfer to tart pan or press directly into fluted tart pan.

    Prick with fork and bake at 400 degrees until light golden brown.

    Pour pecan mixture in hot tart shell.

    Reduce temp to 350 degrees and bake until dark brown and bubbly.

    Cool, remove from tart pan and serve.
