- 1/4 lb. plus 2 Tbsp. butter
- 1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
- 1 c. flour
- 2 eggs
- 1 1/2 c. light brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. chopped pecans
Directions

1Mix butter and cream cheese; add flour and mix well.

2Shape dough into 24 balls; place each ball into a tassie or tiny muffin cup.

3Press dough on bottom and sides of muffin cups to form tart shells.

4Break up eggs with fork but do not beat.

5Melt remaining butter; add with sugar and vanilla to eggs.

6Mix well.

7Sprinkle some of the pecans into tart shell; cover with filling.

8Sprinkle remaining pecans on top.

9Bake at 350° for 25 to 30 minutes.

10Cool in pan.

11Yields 24 tarts.
