Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb. ground beef
  • 1/2 lb. sausage
  • 1 (No. 2) can cream-style corn
  • 1 can chicken with rice soup
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. macaroni, uncooked
  • 1 to 2 c. buttered bread crumbs
  • 1 green pepper

Directions

    Cook macaroni in boiling water 15 minutes.

    Drain.

    Chop pepper and onion and boil slowly in small amount of water until tender and water disappears.

    Add meat and cook slowly, stirring constantly until it is crumbly.

    Combine mixture, macaroni, corn and soup. Mix well.

    Pour into casserole.

    Cover with buttered bread crumbs. Bake 15 minutes at 375° or until crumbs are brown and crisp.
