  • 2 c. light brown sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. butter
  • 2/3 c. milk
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2/3 c. chopped walnuts

Directions

    Lightly butter 9 x 2 1/2-inch loaf pan.

    Line with foil. Grease with butter.

    Mix brown sugar and milk; cook over low heat (use wooden spoon) until soft ball stage.

    Remove from heat.

    Add butter; cool to lukewarm.

    Add vanilla and nuts.

    Beat until thick and creamy.

    Pour into prepared pan.
