  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 12 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 18 lb butter
  • 2 tablespoons white Karo
  • 12 cup nuts

Directions

    Mix sugar, milk, Karo, butter, & salt.

    Cook until it forms a soft ball.

    Let it stand (in sink in cold water) until cool.

    The bottom will start to thicken first.

    Add vanilla & nuts.
