  • 1/4 c. butter or oleo
  • 1 c. brown sugar, packed
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 3/4 c. flour
  • 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 c. chopped pecans

Directions

    Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs and vanilla. Beat well. Combine flour, baking powder and 1/4 teaspoon salt (optional). Add to the creamed mixture. Stir in nuts. Spread in greased 9-inch square pan. Bake at 375° for about 20 minutes. Cool. Cut into fingers. Roll in confectioners sugar.
