Ingredients
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. oil
- 1 clove garlic, crushed
- 1 lb. beef, cut in small, thin pieces
- 1 tsp. salt
- pepper to taste
- 1 c. soup stock
- 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1 Tbsp. soy sauce
- 2 Tbsp. water
- 1 c. green peppers, sliced lengthwise
- 1/2 tsp. fresh ginger, chopped fine
Directions

1Heat pan; add oil and garlic.

2When garlic turns brown, remove.

3Add beef, cut in small thin pieces, and fry a few minutes.

4Season with salt and pepper.

5Add soup stock and continue to cook a few seconds.

6Add mixture of cornstarch, soy sauce and water.

7Cook until thickens, stirring slowly.

8Add green peppers and ginger.

9Heat thoroughly and serve hot with rice.

10Serves 4 to 6.
