- 24 sweet peppers
- 14 medium onions
- 2 Tbsp. salt
- 2 c. brown sugar or white sugar
- 4 c. vinegar
- hot jalapeno peppers to taste (about 12; only if desired)
Directions

1Grind all vegetables separately.

2Cover peppers with boiling water.

3Let stand 10 minutes; drain.

4Add onions, sugar, salt and vinegar.

5Stir, blending well.

6Heat to boiling.

7Boil 10 minutes. Seal in hot jars.
