Ingredients
- 3 large bell peppers (green or red)
- 5 or 6 hot peppers, chopped
- 1 1/2 c. white vinegar (5% acidity)
- 6 c. sugar
- 1 1/2 bottles Certo or 3 pkg. food coloring (green or red, depending on color of peppers)
Directions

1Combine peppers and vinegar and puree in blender of food processor in 2 or 3 batches.

2Combine puree with sugar and bring to a rolling boil.

3Boil for 5 minutes.

4Add food coloring and remove from heat.

5Add Certo and stir well.

6Return to heat and boil for 1 minute.

7Strain through sieve and skim off any foam. Pour in sterilized jars and seal.
