Ingredients

  • 3/4 c. ground bell pepper
  • 1/4 c. ground hot pepper
  • 6 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 (6 oz.) Certo
  • 1 1/2 c. cider vinegar
  • green food coloring

Directions

    Bring to boil peppers, vinegar, salt and sugar.

    Boil 1 minute (a boil you cannot stir down).

    Cool 10 minutes.

    Add Certo and food coloring (enough to make a light green).
  5. 5
    Wait 10 more minutes and skim off top to throw away.

    Pour into jars.
