- 4 c. onion
- 4 c. green tomatoes
- 4 c. green pepper
- 2 c. red pepper
- 1/2 c. salt
- 4 c. vinegar
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 c. water
- 1 Tbsp. pickle spice
Directions

1Chop all vegetables and sprinkle with salt; let set overnight. Next day, rinse and drain vegetables.

2Pour vinegar, sugar and water over vegetables with pickle spice (wrapped in cheesecloth). Bring to a boil.

3Boil slow for ten minutes.

4Put in hot jars.
