- 6 sweet green peppers
- 6 sweet red peppers
- 6 medium onions
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 c. vinegar
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 1/2 tsp. dill seed
Directions

1Wash peppers; remove tops.

2Finely grind peppers and onions; drain.

3In large saucepan, combine peppers and onions; cover with boiling water.

4Let stand 5 minutes; drain.

5To pepper mixture add sugar, vinegar, salt, dill seed and 1/2 cup water.

6Boil gently, uncovered, 5 minutes.

7Pack into hot half pint jars, leaving 1/2 inch headspace.

8Adjust lids.

9Process in boiling water bath 5 minutes.

10(Start timing when water returns to boiling.)

11Makes 10 half pints.
