  • 5 to 6 lb. boneless rump roast
  • slivered garlic
  • lemon pepper

Directions

    Take off all fat.

    Place slivered garlic in slits in roast. Wet roast under faucet.

    Rub lemon pepper all over, kind of pat in.
  4. 4
    Add more for good measure and pat on.

    Marinate several hours or overnight.

    Cook in oven, uncovered, at 200° for one hour, then turn oven as low as it will go and cook for 3 hours. Refrigerate.

    When thoroughly cold, cut and serve.
