- 5 to 6 lb. boneless rump roast
- slivered garlic
- lemon pepper
Directions

1Take off all fat.

2Place slivered garlic in slits in roast. Wet roast under faucet.

3Rub lemon pepper all over, kind of pat in.

4Add more for good measure and pat on.

5Marinate several hours or overnight.

6Cook in oven, uncovered, at 200° for one hour, then turn oven as low as it will go and cook for 3 hours. Refrigerate.

7When thoroughly cold, cut and serve.
