Ingredients
- 2 1/2 lb. chuck roast, cut in cubes
- 4 medium onions
- flour
- 2 beef bouillon cubes
- 2 tsp. paprika
- 1/2 tsp. caraway seed
- 1 large can mushrooms
- 6 oz. can tomato paste
- 2 cans beef broth
- 2 c. water
- 1 tsp. marjoram
- 1/2 can sweet pepper flakes
- dash of chili powder
Directions

1Brown meat in vegetable oil.

2Add sliced onions, cooking until they begin to soften.

3Sprinkle enough flour on meat to coat when mixed.

4Add all of remaining ingredients except mushrooms.

5Simmer 1 1/2 hours or until meat is tender and pepper flakes have completely softened.

6Add mushrooms 1/2 hour before serving.
