  • 1 1/2 to 2 lb. round steak, sliced into thin strips
  • flour to coat
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 pkg. onion soup mix
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced

Directions

    Coat steak with flour.

    Brown in hot oil in Dutch oven until golden brown.

    Drain oil.

    Cover with water.

    Add remaining ingredients.

    Simmer until meat is tender and gravy is thick. Serve over rice, noodles or potatoes.
