- 1 lb. eye of round, cut into strips
- 1/2 c. soy sauce
- 2 green peppers, cut into strips
- 1 small onion, diced
- 1/4 c. hoisin sauce
- 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1/4 c. water, cold
- 1 1/2 tsp. black pepper
- 1/3 c. plum sauce
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. oil
Directions

1Marinate beef strips with soy sauce and black pepper for at least 6 hours.

2In a wok, heat oil until hot.

3Add onions, meat and cook for 3 minutes.

4Add plum and hoisin sauces and sugar.

5Cover and cook for 3 minutes; add green pepper.

6Mix cold water and cornstarch.

7Add to the mixture; stir to evenly thicken sauce. Serve over rice.
