  • 2 lb. sirloin steak, cut in 1-inch pieces
  • 4 Tbsp. butter
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 sliced green pepper
  • 1/2 c. chopped onions
  • 2 c. tomatoes
  • 2 Tbsp. soy sauce
  • 1 beef bouillon cube
  • 1/4 c. water
  • 1 tsp. flour
  • 1 tsp. sugar

Directions

    Put butter and garlic powder in a skillet.

    Add meat and brown. Remove meat and add green pepper and onions.

    Saute for 2 or 3 minutes, then put meat back in skillet.

    Add tomatoes, soy sauce and bouillon cube.

    Simmer (covered) until meat is tender; approximately 45 minutes.

    Mix water, flour and sugar together and add to meat mixture.

    Serve with rice or mashed potatoes.
