- 3 c. rice
- 1 lb. round steak
- 2 tsp. paprika
- 2 Tbsp. butter or oleo
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 to 2 c. beef broth or bouillon cubes
- 1 c. sliced onion
- 2 green peppers, sliced
- 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1/4 c. water
- 1/4 c. soy sauce
- 2 large tomatoes, sliced
Directions

1Cut steak into 1/4-inch strips, sprinkle with paprika and let stand while preparing other ingredients.

2Brown meat in butter, add garlic and broth, cover and simmer 30 minutes or until meat is tender; stir in onions and green peppers and cook until vegetables are tender.

3Blend cornstarch, water and soy sauce.

4Stir into meat mixture and cook until thick (about 2 minutes).

5Add tomatoes and stir.

6Serve over hot rice.
