- 2 lb. round steak, cut into strips
- 3 Tbsp. oil
- 2 c. water
- 1 (15 oz.) can stewed tomatoes
- 2 beef bouillon cubes
- 2 green peppers, cut into strips
- 2 Tbsp. soy sauce
- 3 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1 jar sliced mushrooms
- 1/2 c. water
Directions

1Brown meat in hot oil.

2Stirring, add 2 cups water, tomatoes and bouillon cubes.

3Bring to a boil.

4Cover.

5Simmer for 1 hour. Add pepper strips and mushrooms.

6Simmer 20 to 30 minutes.
