Ingredients
- 1/2 c. butter
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 2 green bell peppers
- 2 lb. beef round or sirloin tip, cut up
- 1/8 tsp. garlic powder
- 2 c. tomatoes
- 1 beef bouillon cube, crushed
- 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1/4 c. water
- 3 Tbsp. soy sauce
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
Directions

1Melt butter in skillet. Add onion, peppers (cut into julienne strips) and saute about 2 minutes.

2Remove and set aside.

3Add beef.

4Sprinkle with garlic powder. Saute, stirring lightly, until browned. Add tomatoes and bouillon cube and simmer 10 minutes. Blend cornstarch, water, soy sauce, sugar and salt. Stir into meat mixture and cook until thickened. Add onion and green peppers. Heat thoroughly.

5Serve immediately with whipped potatoes or buttered rice.
