- 5 lb. eye of round or sirloin tip beef roast
- 1/3 c. coarsely ground black pepper
- 3/4 c. soy sauce
- 1/4 c. lemon juice
- 1/4 c. barbecue sauce
- 1 clove garlic, minced
Directions

1Spread pepper on waxed paper.

2Place meat on top of paper and roll back and forth to cover roast with pepper.

3Press pepper firmly into beef until it coats all sides.

4Combine soy sauce, lemon juice, barbecue sauce and garlic to make marinade.

5Marinate roast in refrigerator overnight.

6Remove roast from marinade and roast at 325° for 2 hours for rare beef, basting with marinade. Allow meat to cool 1 hour before slicing.

7Slice paper thin for sandwiches.

8Reheat marinade and serve over meat, if desired. Makes 20 dollar size sandwiches.
