  • 6 lb. lean roast
  • 1/2 c. cracked pepper
  • 1 c. soy sauce
  • 3/4 c. vinegar
  • 2 tsp. catsup
  • 1 tsp. paprika
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic

Directions

    Trim fat from roast.

    Spread pepper over beef and press in with palm of hand.

    Marinate beef 24 hours in mixture of soy sauce, vinegar, catsup, paprika and garlic powder.

    Remove from refrigerator.

    Wrap beef in foil and place in pan.
  6. 6
    Bake in a 300° oven for 2 1/2 to 3 hours for well done until tender.

    It is delicious hot or cold.
